Research Interests

My research interests include the clinical and epidemiological study of insulin resistance and cardiovascular disease risk factors among adult Native Hawaiians and Hawaii’s other multiethnic populations. Recent work involves a patient-centric web-based diabetes telehealth project to improve glycemic control and reduce diabetes complications.
