My research interests include the clinical and epidemiological study of insulin resistance and cardiovascular disease risk factors among adult Native Hawaiians and Hawaii’s other multiethnic populations. Recent work involves a patient-centric web-based diabetes telehealth project to improve glycemic control and reduce diabetes complications.
