Princess Santiago Recieves Award at International Meeting

Ms. Princess Santiago, Masters student of the MBBE program at CTAHR, received the Best Graduate Talk Award in the 13th International Selenium Meeting in Biology and Medicine (ISMBM), in Daejon, South Korea. Her talk was on “Loss of peroxiredoxin 6 alters selenoprotein expression in selenium-dependent tissues”, and she her graduate studies are under the mentorship of Dr. Lucia Seale (PBRC-SOEST).
