Instructions for Presenters and Invited Speakers
Upload Your Presentation
Invited speakers and oral presenters can upload a copy of their
PowerPoint presentation before coming to the conference. Uploaded files
will be tested on the equipment we will use for the sessions. We will
let you know if there are any problems. The deadline for presentation
uploads is 12:00 noon (Hawaiian Standard Time) Monday May 26, 2003.
After that time, presentations will only be accepted at the Conference
Internet Room.
We have extended the abstract submission deadline to April 15, 2003.
We have been able to arrange discounted fare (up to 10%) with American Airlines. To make your individual reservation and/or ticketing, call the American Airlines Meeting Services desk toll free number 1-800-433-1790 and mention the SNRP Conference's authorization code number (A1653AX). If you travel to Hawaii between May 24, 2003 and May 31, 2003 from any city within the US, Puerto Rico, and Canada, you will receive 5% off the lowest applicable fare; and, you get an additional 5% discount for tickets purchased 30 days prior to travel. However, please keep in mind that some restrictions may apply.
We have extended the advance registration deadline to March 3, 2003. Be sure to register before Midnight on the 3rd to avoid paying the late registration fee.
During the SNRP Conference, we will have one room equiped with a DSL Internet connection. This room will serve as the check-in site for all oral presentations, as well as being a portal for conference participants to check their email and browse the web. We will supply 5 (or more) networked computers, a black-and-white laser printer, a color ink-jet printer, color scanner, CD burners, ZIP drives, and lot's of ethernet cables for participants to connect their own laptops.
Please note however that Internet connections will NOT be available at the presentation room during the scientific sessions. In other words, on-line presentations cannot be supported. Please check with the Presentation Guidelines for the presentation requirements.
