Principal Investigator, Autonomic Function in Human Immunodeficiency Virus Disease
Goal is to examine the long term changes of autonomic function, glucose homeostasis and body composition in HIV-infected individuals receiving highly active anti-retroviral therapy (HAART) compared to HIV-infected individuals not receiving HAART. American Heart Association.

Co-Investigator, Pilot study of relationship between a novel QTc susceptibility gene and autonomic function. Goal is to determine the autonomic function responses among participants with prolonged QTc will differ among those with different angiotension converting enzyme (ACE) gene polymorphisms.
