Welcome to the Web pages of Molecular Endocrinology Laboratory at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa. Our research program was established  in 1970, focusing on reproductive hormone "relaxin" and its role in preterm premature rupture of the fetal membranes (PPROM) which is a major cause of preterm birth.

In more than 30 years, we published more than 150 publications in leading scientific journals, submitted two patents, took part in a great number of scientific conferences, lead students to graduate and PhD degrees.

Molecular Endocrinology Lab is a research program at the Pacific Biomedical Research Center. We have cooperation with several Molecular Endocrinology labs worldwide.

You will find on these pages, short overview of our research, abstracts and full publication articles, links to institutions, research and people we colaborate with. If you need additional information feel free to contact us.
