The Honors Program/Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program Spring Symposium will showcase the best in undergraduate research with oral and poster presentations by over 60 UH Manoa students. This prestigious event will be held at the East-West Center's Imin Conference Hall from 9:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

From 9-10:30 a.m. and 12-1:30 p.m., there will be seven rooms of research presented orally from 39 different academic fields on topics from marine biology to fashion design, and a host of others.  In between those two sessions, from 10:45-11:45 a.m., presenters will be available to explain (and defend) their intriguing research posters. Attendees will have a chance to vote for an audience favorite in each of three discipline categories: Arts & Humanities, Social Sciences, and Natural Sciences. It all wraps up with an awards ceremony and lunch from 1:30-2:30 p.m.
